Silence, nature and a fish on the hook
Lake Szeląg Mały, on which Hotel Anders is picturesquely located, is a true paradise for fishing enthusiasts. It covers an area of 83.8 ha, reaches a depth of about 15 metres, and its length is 2.7 km. It is connected by a channel to Lake Szeląg Wielki, which further increases its attractiveness for anglers.
The water body is managed by the Fish Farm in Ostróda, and the fishing ground is famous for its rich fish population. Among the most commonly caught species are: zander, pike, bream, perch, eel, tench and roach.
On the stretch of the lake belonging to Hotel Anders there are several piers available from which you can fish comfortably. For those preferring catches from the water, there is also the possibility to rent a rowboat, which allows access to the most promising spots on the lake.
