WE INVITE YOU TO AN EXTRAORDINARY WALK IN THE CLOUDS!
The Kurza Góra observation tower is an extraordinary and unique structure in northern Poland. Walking the wooden path that leads to the top of the 35-meter observation tower provides the opportunity to admire the beautiful panorama of the Drwęca River valley and to learn about the fascinating history of the Kurzętnik castle and the town of Kurzętnik itself.
Few know that this site was chosen in 1410 for a great battle intended to demonstrate the power of the Teutonic forces, but it ultimately took place nearby, at Grunwald, and was a great triumph for the Polish-Lithuanian knights. The footbridge leading over the ski slopes is also an educational trail rich in interactive installations and multimedia stories about medieval times, the inhabitants of the fortified castle and the town at its feet, and about the battle full of mysteries.
The facility is a year-round tourist and recreational infrastructure, similar to the tubing track complex already on the resort grounds. It was created by Polish engineers, architects, and carpenters.
