An autochthonous Masurian family lives in the village — one of the few that did not leave Masuria after World War II.
The village also retains a forester's lodge building from the second half of the 19th century and an old forest cemetery. Nestled in greenery is the picturesque Barduń Lake. The village is located 5 km from the hotel.
