In accordance with the Act of 28 July 2023 amending the Act – the Family and Guardianship Code and certain other acts (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1606) the Hotel is obliged to implement the Standards for the Protection of Minors (SOM) by 15 August 2024. The Hotel is required to apply the standards for the protection of minors, in particular to verify the identity of the minor and their relationship with the adult accompanying them in the facility. (Act of 13 May 2016 on counteracting threats of sexual offences and protecting minors).
Our standards
Due to SOM standards, we kindly ask you to bring documents confirming the identity of the adult who is the legal guardian and of the minor traveling with you. If you are traveling with a minor for whom you are not the parent or legal guardian, please also prepare a parent's consent for the child to travel.
Required documents
To complete proper verification, we will ask you at check-in to present the child's identity document, or another document confirming the right to care for the child at that time.
Examples of documents verifying the child's identity include an ID card, a school ID, the MObywatel app, the Internet Patient Account, or a court decision.
If you are not the child's parent, you must present a notarized consent or parental consent including the child's details, their home address, a telephone contact for the parent, the identity document number, and the PESEL of the person traveling with the child.
